What IS leadership?
That’s indeed a good question.
With far more than 850 different academic definitions - according to Warren Bennis in his book Leaders from 1997 (!) - we can just imagine how many there are today.
Especially when we realize that the correct definition also depends on our perspective, the time we live in, and a whole range of other criteria.
To make things a bit easier, we’ve made a model which differentiate between four levels of leadership.
