Your team doesn't need a more confident leader

Unpopular opinion for a Tuesday: your team doesn't need a more confident leader.

It needs a more involving one.

Confidence is what you perform when you don't have the answer. Involvement is what you do instead of performing.

The best executive teams I've worked with over the last decade aren't led by the most certain person in the room. They're led by the person who knows how to make uncertainty a team sport instead of a solo act.

That's a learnable skill. It's called Involving Leadership, and the fastest way in is a method called Better Together - 60 minutes to learn, a lifetime to use. www.brainwells.com/bto
